Funding Schedules
Funding schedules allow you to set the specific date and time you would like to trigger funding for your stashes. For those who get paid regularly, this can be a great way to make your budget “set it and forget it”.
Simply set and name your schedule, apply it to your stashes, and Halfsies will calculate exactly how much you need to fund your stash before it comes due.
Funding schedules can be created in 2 places:
- Through the Create A Stash screen

Simply scroll down to the funding schedule section, select “Create New” and go through the steps. Once created, you can use this funding schedule again when creating future stashes.
- Through the Funding Schedules Page

Through the Funding Schedules page contained within the read more menu under your budgeting tab. Simply tap the + in the upper right. Once set, this schedule will appear in the “Funding Schedule” drop down for you to select when you create new stashes.
If you get paid regularly, we strongly recommend you fund your stashes on your pay day. That way your money is set aside before you can miss it.You can do this in two ways:

The most immediate way to do this is to trigger funding as soon as your paycheck deposits. Simply select your paycheck from a list of recurring transactions and your stashes will automatically fund the next time it deposits.
Alternatively, you can select “On a specific date” in order to set any date or time you choose - though we would still strongly recommend you align this with your pay date.
If you don’t get paid on a regular basis, simply select the date or time of the month when you are most confident your account will have the money required to fund your stashes.
And of course, you are always welcome to forego funding schedules entirely. Just keep in mind you will need to track due dates and fill up your stashes yourself throughout the month.
