Splitting Transactions

To split a transaction, simply hold down on the transaction you would like to split. After a moment, the Split screen will appear.

From here you can review your transaction, and decide how you would like to split it. Notice that by default, all transactions are charged 100% to the account you initiated the split from. If you would like to change this, you will need to use the sliders for your two other accounts.

To split your transaction, simply enter the amounts each account owes for the transaction into their respective text fields. You can also use the sliders to set a percentage.

Any amount leftover, will be deducted automatically from the account that initiated the split. This means that if you would like to split two ways rather than three, simply leave one of the amounts at zero.

Once confirmed, a transaction will appear under each account’s activity section. From there you can hold it again to edit the split. Unfortunately, a transaction that has been split cannot be hidden like one that has been covered 100%.

It is important to note that each account can only split up to their balances. The amount you assign to your partner cannot exceed the amount they have available. If this is insufficient for the split, you will need to send more money to their account first.
